You cant give a young person a voice they already have one. The skill is learning how to hear that voice and offering the space and opportunity for it to grow. Throughout the poem, the poet uses uppercase letters to indicate the significance of the teacher and the consequences that she had. Even though now in our generation parents do not really let kids have imaginary friends they need to realize it will help them open up, it will help them see and appreciate the little things in the world. ECE came into view during the Age of Enlightenment, especially in
European countries. It became a norm in the western world as it
was continuously growing throughout the 19th century. By this
time Kindergartens and Day Nurseries were established. They were
used for educational and caring purposes in most of Europe. In
the past, early childhood education was somewhat informal. It was
only evolving among family, households, and community members.
But after the 20th century, this term was formalised and
characterised as women started to join in outdoor works. Ive got
a physical disability and Im severely dyslexic so you would think
both those things would have worked against me as a child, but
actually they didnt. I have a mum who didnt make an issue out of
it, instead she focused on the joyful aspects of childhood in a
very simple, creative way. She told me there was nothing I
couldnt do. So I rode a horse when I was two despite having just
one hand to hold the reins. I went to France on my own when I was
nine and America when I was 11.
The holistic approach of ECE can make a balance between the home,
the environment, and the growing child. This is the stage where
your offspring starts to bloom as an ethical person. Early
childhood education helps him/her to learn how to respect senior
citizens, how to differentiate between right and wrong, etc.
Growing up with a little sister that I taught, helped me realize that I was and would be great with children, which lead me to wanting to be a teacher. I grew up taking care of my sister so knowing and having someone to teach what I already knew was a great start to my I would classify myself as a very needy person but not materialistic. We all have our wants and needs in our lives and we all want things to always go our way. Some of my future needs are to grow up and have a beautiful family, with an amazing job, and to come home happy and almost 100 satisfied with the life I am living and the career I have. I think it is important to try to be the best person you can be day by day. Strive to be the best of the best. I was brought up in a very dysfunctional, seriously Christian foster family, but they always encouraged me to ask questions. That ability to think of home as a place where ideas can be cultivated is really important.
When it comes down to it, the building of self-confidence and self-worth is everything. Nothing else will happen if that doesnt happen. Childhood is the age of period from birth to other words we can say that Childhood is earlier part of life which cannot come again. This part of age full of happiness and free from tensions. When we could not hangout, we had radios and headsets that we would talk to each other on. We lived so close to each other that most of the cheap radios had enough juice to reach the other. Jonny, Alex and I did have other friends from school but for some reason we did not seem to venture out unless it was a different kids birthday party from school. Simple pleasures must becherished. Childhood is a wonderful time of life in which a child transforms to an adult; however it is something that is constantly explored in literature. Childhood is a pleasurable time in which life is innocent. Childhood is the most beautiful of all lifes seasons. The poems "Half-Past Two" and "Hide and seek", present the perspective of a child and his life and will be explored in depth. The other three poems "Piano", "Poem at thirty nine" and "Once Upon a Time", state that an adult is feeling nostalgic, remembering his childhood. Whereas the poem "Mother in a Refugee Camp" is about a tragic life of a mother who lost her child. I think that the very best kind of attention you can give a child is reading with them. That could be cuddling up with a toddler or sharing stories with an older child. I think its a lovely thing to do. Im also very much in favour of doing things as a group. So eating as a family and viewing things together on TV, rather than a child watching the iPlayer alone in his or her bedroom. Im just old-fashioned, but I think we have to pull together. I remember a doctor saying to me once, if you dont wear your prosthetic hand you wont have any friends.
I just laughed. I always used to remove it when I got to school and my friends thought it was hilarious that I would just walk into the classroom and take my arm off. For me it wasnt an issue. Children come into the world afresh, without all of the baggage, sadness or anxiety that the parents carry. What my mum did was mask all of that for me and met me at my level. I think childhood is a time to learn tolerance and how to be inclusive. I have worked at my mothers in home daycare (it is a licensed daycare) since I was around eight years old. I love working with children, this involves taking care of the infants and toddlers, helping them do their crafts, encouraging them in their development to learn their ABCs or to write their own name, and much more. I love how I am helping raise the next generation, it always puts a smile on my face when I see a child complete a goal that they have been working on for weeks or even months. There is only one thing that I dislike and that is that the parents will sometimes take advantage of you and they dont realize how much work goes into caring for sixteen children for twelve hours on a daily basis (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).

We all know that learning begins from our very first cry, from the moment of our birth. And the early years of a child are the most important years for their physical and internal development. "Hide and seek" is a brilliant message hidden in the description of a childhood game. The poem starts with the assured and brave challenge of a boy who has selected a crafty place to hide and is assured no one will be able find him, "Call out. Call loud. Im ready", still in spite the fact that he is uncomfortable and scared; he takes relief in the fact that no one will be able to find him. Some literary devices also used in "Hide and seek", on the starting line, punctuation like exclamation marks are used to show the passion of the boy: "Im ready!". The poet uses personification and the senses to designate the nearby atmosphere in a rich way: "The darkening garden watches". Intermittent rhyme trailed by half-rhyme is used to enhance a feel of rhythm to the poem: but be careful that your feet arent sticking out. Wiser not to risk another shout". The poem is one incessant verse.
This is the time when they learn lying is wrong and highly prohibited. Many parents wonder what actually is the purpose of early childhood education. But it is the best type to educate your child. My strengths are getting on the childs level and having a conversation with them (not just talking to them), helping the children when they get hurt, and encouraging and giving as much support as I possibly can to every child in the childcare to help them achieve all their goals in a timely The third poem "Once Upon a Time" was written by Gabriel Okara, who is an African writer. This is similar to other poems as they all concentrate on the growing up or childhood. You can conquer anything in the world with your confidence and the ability of concentration makes it even smoother. Early childhood education lends a hand in building your childs confidence. The themes explored in "Half Past Two" are childhood understandings, reflection, isolation and desertion. These themes are also explored in "Hide and Seek". Take your child as the tree and his/her lifelong achievements as its leaves. The tree wont be standing this long if the root is not strong enough. And in concern of your child, the root is early childhood education. Make the root stronger for the development of your offspring. Because early childhood matters! My elementary experiences were wonderful years that I feel have made me into the person I am today, especially my second grade teacher, Ms. Fezer. She was the greatest teacher of all times. She not only had love for her students but compassion to want them to learn and made sure they that they understood the material. She made learning fun and always had a wonderful smile. I hope to run a classroom in the manner that she did.
